Our Story
The playground at Greenfield Elementary School has long been noted throughout the community for its unique design and play space. Under the shade of the tall pine and maple trees, and surrounded by gentle rolling hills, the playground has provided decades of enjoyment for the children in our school and the surrounding community. But what made this playground even more special, was the determination, compassion and community spirit that so many individuals put forth 25 years ago when it was built. This is what makes it so difficult to say goodbye to the playground we've all grown attached to.
While this playground has served the community well, it is time to create a new play structure that will serve future generations. The future playground promises to provide another unique design that will meet new safety standards and will allow accessibility to all children. We look forward to designing this structure with the families and staff at Greenfield Elementary School. Together, we will once again create a place to strengthen our minds, bodies, friendships and community for decades to come.
